Jim Henson Pictures

Jim Henson Pictures is a United States-based movie studio, specializing in family films. It was founded by Sony Pictures Entertainment and The Jim Henson Company in 1997. Prior to that Henson films were released under the banner of successors to Henson Associates and Jim Henson Productions.
In a press release announcing the venture, Kermit the Frog was quoted as saying, "We need more good family films, especially ones that have parts for bears, gorillas, elves, pigs, and the occasional frog." [1] (http://www.imdb.com/news/sb/1997-05-22#film6)
