James Roosevelt (December 23, 1907 – August 13, 1991) was the son of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Anna Eleanor Roosevelt.

James Roosevelt married Betsey Cushing Roosevelt Whitney. They divorced in 1940.

Military Career
During WWII was second-in-command of the 2nd Raider Battalion, a Marine unit organized and trained to conduct commando and guerrilla-style attacks behind enemy lines. Eventually he rose to the rank of Brig. General.
