Israir

Israir Airlines is an airline based in Tel Aviv, Israel. It operates domestic scheduled and air taxi flights from Sde Dov Airport, Tel Aviv, as well as Haifa and Eilat, and international charter services from Sde Dov Air and Ben Gurion International Airport, Lod, to Europe, Africa, and New York. It also operates VIP and cargo flights.

History
The airline was established in 1989 as Emek Wings. It changed its name to Israir in 1996 and international flights began in 1999. It is wholly owned by the Ganden Group. Service between Tel Aviv and JFK International Airport in New York began in June, 2004.
