Horilka
From Biocrawler, the free encyclopedia.
Horilka (Ukrainian: горілка, from hority, "to burn") is essentially Ukrainian vodka. The word is also used in the generic sense to mean whisky, or other strong spirits.
Sometimes whole fruits of capsicum are put into the bottle, turning horilka into a sort of bitters; it is then named horilka z pertsem. Horilka is also often made with honey, mint, or even milk.
