A homecoming game in American high school and collegiate athletics is an annual sporting event where alumni of the school gather for reunions and celebration. Typically, the event is the last American football home game of the season, and is played against one of the school's traditional rivals. It is accompanied by many other festivities, including a homecoming dance.
