The Himalayan Black Bear is a bear found in the eastern Himalayas in Nepal, Sikkim and Bhutan. The bears inhabit elevations between 4,000 and 12,000 feet in the temperate forests of the Himalayas. The bear is hebivorous and eats mostly sugarcane and bamboo.
