Henry Nicholas Ridley

Henry Nicholas Ridley (December 10, 1855 - October 24, 1956) was an English botanist. He was largely responsible for establishing the rubber industry on the Malay peninsula.
The standard botanical author abbreviation Ridl. is applied to species he described.
