Gunnar Svedberg

Gunnar Svedberg (born 1947 in Annefors, Sweden) is rector of Gothenburg University.
Svedberg studied at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and received a Ph.D. in chemical engineering in 1975. He became a full professor at the RIT in 1989. He is the Rector (Vice-Chancellor or President) of Gothenburg University since July 2003.
