George Casey

General George W. Casey, Jr. served as vice chief of staff for the Army since October 2003 and currently serves the top U.S. commander in Iraq overseeing all U.S. forces. He is a graduate of Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. Previous to his position as the Army Vice Chief, he was the Director of the Joint Staff, and prior to that position, the Joint Staff's J-5 Director for Policy, Plans and Strategy.
