Georg Heinrich Thiessen

Georg Heinrich Thiessen (January 19 1914 – July 3 1961) was a German astronomer.
He worked at Hamburg Observatory.
His life ended in a frontal collision automobile accident.
Thiessen crater on the Moon is named after him.
