Gauss-Krüger coordinate system

In cartography the Gauß-Krüger coordinate system is a coordinate system, used for measuring points on the surface of the Earth.

The system is named after Carl Friedrich Gauss and Johann Heinrich Louis Krüger and is primarily used in German-speaking countries.
