Göd is a beautiful small town in Hungary, in Pest county. It lies between Budapest and Vác on the Eastern left bank of the river Danube. It was first mentioned in documents in 1215. The settlement has been a strategic place since the era of the Roman Empire, because of its riding-way on the Danube.
