Franz Paula von Schrank

Franz Paula von Schrank (1747 - 1835) was a German botanist and entomologist.
Schrank was the first director of the botanical gardens in Munich from 1809 to 1832.
The standard botanical author abbreviation Schrank is applied to species he described.
