Erik Johan Stagnelius

Erik Johan Stagnelius was born upon October 14, 1793 in Gärdslösa, Oelandia, and died upon April 3, 1823 in Stockholm at the age of 29.

Stagnelius was a Romantic poet from Sweden who is perhaps most famous for the poem "Näcken," a romantic verse-based poem about the Nix.
