Effort force

From Biocrawler, the free encyclopedia.

In physics, effort force is the force used to moving an object over a distance.

Effort force is a component in the following equation,

R × DR = E × DE

where R equals resistance force, DR equals resistance distance, E equals effort force, and DE equals effort distance.

Effort force is also a component in the following equation,

Work input = E × DE

where E equals effort force and DE equals effort distance.

Effort force, like most other forces, is measured in newtons or the pound-force.
