Edouard Stern,"the Mozart of finance", one of France's richest men. His fortune placed him at 38th in a list of France’s richest citizens. He was born in 1954 to one of France’s wealthiest families, the owners of Banque Stern, a private investment house. He studied at the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales in Paris, and he was a highly intelligent, and combative, man. He was separated from his wife Béatrice David-Weil, who lives in New York with their three children. He was buried near Geneva, Jewish cemetery: Located near Geneva, (Switzerland), village of Veyrier. (Mar. 10, 2005).
- Mr Stern, was found dead on 1 March, and he was killed with four shots from a handgun.
[Edouard Stern supported secretly, and anonymously, associative projects related to childhood, humanitarian or environmental organizations against the hunger and for the development, and many ONG,s working in favour of the human rights. The financial intervention of Edouard Stern, or its immediate support, brought financial means for the installation of programs of development and the reinforcement of the humanitarian action, missions of development aid and humanitarian in the world and in particular to Africa.
