Deerhurst

Deerhurst is a village near Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire, England on the east bank of the River Severn, at grid reference SO869295 (http://www.rhaworth.myby.co.uk/oscoor_a.htm?SO869295_region:GB_scale:25000). It features one of the few 10th century monastic buildings still standing. The church has been altered, however, by the destruction of its original apse and the addition of Norman style side aisles.
