David Legwand (Born August 17, 1980, in Detroit, MI), is a professional ice hockey player.

Overview
On on June 26, 1998 Legwand was chosen second overall in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft with the Predator's first pick. He was the first draft selection in franchise history.
Legwand was the first person in NHL history to score a game winning goal in overtime on a penalty shot.
