Elder Qiao

Da Qiao (Traditional Chinese: 大喬; Simplified Chinese: 大乔; pinyin: Dàqiáo) (lifespan: unknown) was the daughter of Qiao Xuan and together with her younger sister Xiao Qiao, they were known as the two great beauties of ancient China.
Da Qiao was wed to Sun Ce of the Kingdom of Wu during the Three Kingdoms period in China. They had 2 children, Sun Shao and Lady Sun. Lady Sun married Lu Xun.
The two Qiaos were one of the major causes of the Battle at Chibi. Zhuge Liang manipulated Zhou Yu under the guse of advising him of Cao Cao plot to obtain the Qiao sisters for himself. Enraged, Zhou Yu ploted with Zhuge Liang and Pang Tong to attack Cao Cao.
Cao Cao faced a crushing defeat from a fire attack during the battle and was forced to retreat. The Qiao sisters were never taken from Wu.
In actual history, there is no especial reference to either of them and their apperance in Romance of the Three Kingdoms is mostly fictional. There is no mention of what happened to them after the Battle of Chibi but it is assmued they both remained in Wu.zh:大乔 ja:大喬 fr:Da Qiao
