Degrees of General Hardness (dGH) is a unit of water hardness, specifically of General Hardness.

General Hardness is a measure for the number of calcium and magnesium cations per volume of water. 1 dGH corresponds to 10 mg of calcium oxide or magnesium oxide per litre of water.
