Clive Betts

Clive James Charles Betts (born January 13, 1950) is a politician in the United Kingdom, and member of Parliament for Sheffield Attercliffe since 1992. He is a member of the Labour Party, and was a government whip from 1997 to 2001. In 2003 he was suspended from the House of Commons for breaching the parliamentary code of conduct by helping his lover (a Brazilian former rentboy) in an attempt to mislead immigration officials.
