Cauchy boundary condition

From Biocrawler, the free encyclopedia.

In mathematics, a Cauchy boundary condition imposed on an ordinary differential equation or a partial differential equation specifies the values both the value of a solution the derivative of a solution is to take on the boundary of the domain. It corresponds to imposing both a Dirichlet and a Neumann boundary condition.
