Jesus (c. 6-4 BC–c. AD 29-33) is the central figure in Christianity, in which context he is known as Jesus Christ (from the Greek Ιησούς Χριστός; transliteration: "Iesous Christos"). He is also called Jesus of Nazareth or Jesus the Nazarene.
