Human development refers to the biological and psychological development of the human being throughout ones lifespan. It consists of the development of the neonate throught infancy. It describes the development of the child by parenting, and the childs development through adolescence to adulthood. It also describes the characteristics and stages of adult life, leading to old age and death of the human individual. The scientific study of human development is called as Developmental psychology.
