Category:Franco-Flemish composers
From Biocrawler, the free encyclopedia.
Franco-Flemish composers: the composers who originated in and the area of the Low Countries, present-day northern France, Netherlands, Belgium, and northwestern Germany, between about 1430 and 1600. In this category there is some overlap between composers of adjacent regions (for example, Josquin Desprez is arguably a French composer, since he was probably born in modern-day France, but music histories invariably tag him as Franco-Flemish).
