Bristol Island

Bristol Island (59°02′ S 026°31′ W (http://kvaleberg.com/extensions/mapsources/index.php?params=59_02_S_026_31_W_)) is 8 km (5 mi) long, lying midway between Montagu Island and Thule Island in the South Sandwich Islands. Discovered by a British expedition under James Cook in 1775 and named by him for the title name of the noble family of Hervey.
