Bobby Koch

Robert "Bobby" Koch is the President and CEO of the Wine Institute, acting as their chief lobbyist in Washington D.C. He is also a member of the Koch family.

He married Dorothy Bush, the former President George H. W. Bush's only daughter, at a private ceremony held at presidential retreat Camp David, in 1992. They have two two children, plus the two children from her first marriage to William Leblond (who she filed for divorce from, one week after he was arrested for drunk driving and being in possession of marijuana - August 1989 - Maynard, Massachusetts.)

Koch is a democrat and started his career in politics working for Tony Coelho and was part of his campaign to become House Majority Whip. He would later become staff director for Richard Gephardt before joining the Wine Institute. Among its efforts, this lobby has promoted continuation of export marketing subsidies.
