Bob de Groot

Bob de Groot was born on 26 October 1941 in Brussels, to Dutch and French parents.
He started out as a writer and artist of comic books, later producing scripts for others to illustrate as well. After having produced over 300 pages of comics for magazines, he teamed up with Turk, and gradually specialized, with great success, as a scripter. Together they colloborated on three comics series:
Today, De Groot remains a prolific writer for many comics artists, including Rodrigue, with whom he published several more Cliftons in 2003 and later, and with Morris, collaborating on Lucky Luke.
