Belgian rock
From Biocrawler, the free encyclopedia.
Rock and roll is a style of popular African American music, established in Belgium only in the late 1970s, long after the style had penetrated most of the rest of the world. Before the 1980s began, several Belgian bands had found an audience, especially T.C. Matic.
Modern bands include Antwerp's dEUS and its numerous offshoots, like Dead Man Ray and Zita Swoon.
