Base Curve Radius

From Biocrawler, the free encyclopedia.

Base Curve Radius, or BCR, is a parameter of a contact lens. Typical values are from 7.9 to 8.7 mm. It tells if the lens is steep or not. The BCR is used to determine the necessary size of a contact lens for a particular user.
