Barret Jackman

Barret Jackman (born March 5 1981 in Trail, British Columbia) is an NHL ice hockey player for the St. Louis Blues.

- Drafted: St. Louis' first round selection, 17th overall, on June 26, 1999.
Jackman was injured in the 2003-2004 NHL season. In the 2002-2003 season he finished with a plus 23 rating and the highest average ice time per game for all NHL rookies. Jackman is not much of an offensive threat, but his sound positioning, steady puck handling, and strong physical play more than make up for it. Jackman won the Calder Trophy (Rookie of the Year) in 2003.
While the NHL has been locked out Jackman has stayed in St. Louis and is playing for the Missouri River Otters.
