Arthur Avenue (The Bronx)

From Biocrawler, the free encyclopedia.

(Redirected from Arthur Avenue)

Arthur Avenue in the Bronx is the site of one of New York City's "Little Italies", in the Fordham section of the Bronx. At one point in the 1990s there were regualr free John Gotti rallys. The area near East 187th Street is full of Italian stores, delis, shops, and restaurants, though it has transitioned in recent years due to include a growing number of Albanian cafes and now Mexican restaurants as well.

A Bronx Tale was about, but mostly not filmed, in the area. It was largely filmed in Queens.
