Aron is a fictional character from the Pokémon series. It is a Steel/Rock-type Pokémon. Its name is derived from iron. Since Aron is made of steel, it must eat metals like iron to form it's body. Because of this, they live far underground where they eat ores. These Pokémon sleep upside down and get angry when they awake. They usually live together, in "colonies", underground near mountainouus regions. Aron also live with Lairon and Aggron, their evolved forms. It only had one appearance in the Pokémon anime, under the control of Steven.
