The dwarf pipe snakes or anomochilids (genus Anomochilus) are the only genus of family Anomochilidae. There are only 2 species.

Distribution
The genus is native to southern peninsular Malaysia, central Sumatra, southwestern Borneo as well as in the East Indies.

Description
These two species ressemble much Asian pipesnakes (family Cylindrophiidae). They lack both a chin groove and teeth on their pterygoid.

Taxonomy
The genus Anomochilus was previously assigned to the subfamily Cylindrophiinae, of the family Uropeltidae.
