American Masters

American Masters is a PBS television show which does biographies on what it judges are the best artists, actors and writers of the United States.

Several of the American Masters are groups or organizations: Actor's Studio, Algonquin Round Table, Group Theatre, Negro Ensemble Company, Juilliard School, The Source (the beat generation), Sun Records, and Vaudeville.
