American Embassy building, Dublin

The American Embassy in Dublin, Ireland was designed by American architect, John MacL. Johansen, in consultation with Irish architect, Michael Scott. It was constructed between 1962 and 1964 on a triangular site at Elgin road, Ballsbridge, Dublin.

  • Circular in plan, it incorporates modern interpretations of early Celtic monuments with contemporary American design.
