Alex Shnaider

Alex Shnaider is a Russian-born Canadian businessman who bought Jordan Grand Prix from Eddie Jordan and will rename it Midland F1 for the 2006 Formula One season.

Shnaider was originally going to start the team from scratch, however he purchased Jordan Grand Prix to guarantee his entry into the F1 world championship without having to pay the bond that otherwise would have been necessary. For the 2005 Formula One season season very little development work is likely to be done on the cars, however for the 2006 season a technical liasion with Dallara is likely to improve the technical quality of the cars.

He is also planning on setting up a Midland Formula Three team, which he would use to develop young Russian drivers.
