Actinomycosis

Actinomycosis is an infection from Actinomyces bacteria.
Occurs when the Bacteria invades an extraction site of a tooth, has a long onset period, fever, and a sulfer smell. The nodule which appears at the extraction site appears dark purple and contains a yellowish to green pus.
Actinomycosis also occurs on the mouth and lower jaw of cows.
