ACES Colombia

From Biocrawler, the free encyclopedia.

(Redirected from Aces)

ACES is short for Aerolineas Centrales de Colombia, an airline that was based at Olaya Herrera International Airport in Medellín, Colombia.

The company was founded in 1971 and operated flights to North America and the Caribbean, as well as domestic flights in Colombia. Its fleet consisted of Airbus A320, Boeing 727, and Aerospatiale ATR-42 aircraft.

In 2003, Financial woes forced the airline to shut down. Its routes were taken over by it's partner carrier, Avianca.
